June 17, 1999 - Cotswolds

Took the train to the Cotswolds, then a bus to Painswick. We didn't have any reservations and no one answered at the b&b but the Falcon Inn had vacancies though so we stayed there. After dropping off our things we explored the town and had tea in a tea room.

The town is so small that there really wasn't much left to do so we took a bus to nearby Brockworth. It wasn't what we were hoping for (another town like Painswick) so we waited to catch the next bus back, but it never came! We were stranded! Mom had to call a cab to take us back, and left her camera in the cab. He tracked us down though, much to her relief.

We wandered around St Mary's Church, had dinner at a pub, and took a stroll by the pastures where we met some friendly cows.
